World Arthritis Day 2016
World Arthritis Day (WAD) is a global initiative bringing people together to raise awareness of issues affecting people with RMDs. WAD is organized every year on 12th October and supported by a year-round global campaign. The aim is to educate people on the burden of rheumatic musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs) and to provide assistance to improve their quality of life.

From 5.00 pm Joint pain – Do I have rheumatism?
It doesn’t always take swollen joints to diagnose rheumatoid arthritis. In an early stage of RA, disease specific autoantibodies (ACPA) could be present in the blood increasing the risk of disease. Based on a blood survey this can be checked within minutes. We will inform about the disease and the possibilities and chances of early recognition.

Ultrasound examination is a standardized method to determine the status of bone and joint diseases e.g. rheumatism or osteoporosis. This evening we will demonstrate an ultrasound examination of your fingers and you can have a look inside your joints.
